What makes us unique?

About

Christar Europe is a part of Christar International Network which has over 500 members from multiple mobilization centers across the globe. One of our unique characteristics is our three streams approach to mobilization: we send our members out as traditional workers, marketplace professionals, and business as mission practicioners. These three streams provide us the platforms to finish the task of engaging, evangelizing and planting churches among unreached people groups. We are able to be fruitful in these three streams by drawing from our long history in the work, and being innovative in our approach.

Experience

The organization's 100+ years of experience began in Hong Kong in 1909 with the South China Boat Mission. We continue to build on that legacy and seek the most fruitful methods of church planting among the least-reached peoples of the world. We have remained focused on going to the people who have not had an opportunity to know Jesus in their own language.

Innovation

Christar International Network is known in Europe for its social innovation practices that impact the lives of refugees and immigrants. We are known further afield for projects that address community needs such as infertility and job creation (follow this link to read about one such project). We continue the task of planting churches with valuable experience and a mindset that embraces possibilities and expansion of God's Kingdom.
